It is clear to me that the cops were up to no good and in fact knew they wrongfully killed Kojo or they would not have thrown his still warm, lifeless body off of a cliff. Shame on you for condoning their despicable behavior. It comes as no surprise to me that everyone who knew Kojo reports he was an extremely well-mannered and well-adjusted, friendly, loving dog. I am so sick of ignorant cops using the tired defense that the dog was “vicious” or “aggressive” when in countless cases the witnesses have reported otherwise. The good people will not allow cops to kill innocent animals and put the lives of innocent people in danger. We will speak up regarding this clear abuse of power by your police officers who are supposed to serve and protect, not terrorize and needlessly kill the innocent!

There was a (hoax, apparently and thankfully) bomb threat at the Human Rights Campaign. I can't really say it's necessarily the responsibility of some anti-LGBT bigot (Just because it was at the HRC proves nothing). Following Hanlon's Razor leads to the simpler conclusion that it was some jerk with too much time on their hands.

According to the Barna Group (a pro-Christian research/polling entity), among non-Churchgoers aged 16-29, 91% chose "antihomosexual" as the first word that came to mind when thinking of Christianity. The next most common negative responses were "judgemental", hypocritical, and too involved with politics. That defining marriage so that only heterosexual couples are included, isn't really outlawing same-sex marriage (because same-sex couples are still allowed to live with each other, etc). Talk about going off the top of the doubletalk scale.

Actually, IMO, it might be more appropriate to read that quote in its
proper context; I get the feeling he meant to encourage people not to be
rigidly logical and to instead embrace faith, even (or especially) with
its unreason, which allows them to find God. That would definitely seem
more in line with his usual MO.
